About Dulverton

Standing on the southern edge of Exmoor National Park, Dulverton is an old market town beside the river Barle. The town is a pretty mixture of stone cottages and excellent restaurants and shops all within a three minute walk of Town Mills.

Within the town there are three churches – Anglican, Catholic and Congregational.

Film Club www.dulvertonfilms.btck.co.uk If you are in Dulverton on a Friday night you might like to check out what is showing at the Town Hall on film nights. The show starts at 7.30pm and wine, beer and soft drinks can be bought to enjoy while you watch

Focusing mainly on Chamber Music, the festival offers thirty concerts in October both in Dulverton and the surrounding towns.

The skies above Dulverton are particularly clear and one Sunday in December the town welcomes visitors to enjoy an afternoon of magic. The shops are all decorated for Christmas, there is music and dancing in the street, lots of drink and food on offer and a fabulous fireworks display at the end of the evening, and, if we are really luckily more music to dance to after that!
